Farnham Church

On December 6th there was a brief skirmish at Farnham Virginia, west of Richmond. The British bombarded North Farnham Church and assaulted militia taking cover in the church. The strength of either side was only about 50 and was fought between British troops and Virginian militia. The engagement at the northern end of the Farnham Church complex occurred in the late afternoon, the British failed to capture their target.
